HI I’M RY.

I’m inspired by the city around me. I began taking pictures of the downtown streets, and the people that kept it busy. That led to photographing some of my closest friends and later on, some of my favourite musicians. Seeing photos that were once on my laptop end up on a massive billboard never gets old to me. It’s a reminder to myself that the moments I capture have a limitless potential. That potential is a standard I always hold myself to, whether I’m taking a photo for work or for fun.

While I shoot a lot of things, music and fashion photography is my area of focus. I love capturing concerts, intimate moments behind the scenes, as well as people in general. Through photography, I learned the importance of documenting life, and as a photographer I know it’s my responsibility to curate these memories - not only for myself but also for the world around me, and the world to come.
